Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. Kristina Reply connects with a QR code as a linked device, just like using WhatsApp on a computer. The number stays on the company phone and does not have to be migrated to another platform. You keep using it as before, including to reply by hand.
Can we still reply from the phone?
Yes. When someone replies by hand from that number, Kristina pauses on that chat and no longer steps in. She resumes after the time set in the dashboard, or when you switch her back on. Other conversations carry on as normal.
Can it send promotions or reminders?
No. Kristina Reply only answers people who write in and never starts a conversation. That means no campaigns, no messages to lists of numbers and no reminders. The terms of service prohibit its use for unsolicited messages and provide for access to be suspended in the event of abuse.
Is there a risk of the number being blocked?
No connection to WhatsApp carries zero risk. Kristina Reply is designed to reduce the risk. It only answers people who write in, sends no bulk messages and never starts conversations. It is better to connect a number that is already in use, with a history of normal conversations, than a newly activated one.
Does it understand voice notes, photos and documents?
Yes. Voice messages are transcribed, photos are described and PDFs are read, and the reply takes their content into account. Photos and documents received stay in the dashboard archive, where you can view and delete them.
What happens when a customer wants to talk to a person?
Kristina collects their name and contact details. She then alerts the company by email, at the address set for that number, and with a WhatsApp message to the manager’s number. In the dashboard, the conversation appears among those to pick up, with the whole exchange already written out.
Where are the conversations stored?
They are stored in the company’s dashboard, kept separate number by number, on servers in the European Union. The replies are written using artificial intelligence models from third-party providers, which are listed in the service’s privacy notice.
How many conversations can it handle?
It depends on the plan. The plans differ by how many numbers are connected and how many conversations are handled each month, and they are described on kristinareply.com. For higher volumes, or more numbers than the plans allow, we agree a solution through the contact form.
